Data retention policy
DesignString Solutions Pvt Ltd will retain the data as long as customers maintain the paid plan of OKRbot. Data above 2 years from the creation date will be moved to cheaper storages like S3 / Spaces. Customers can still request through the reporting option or write to hello@okrbot.io. Once the customer terminates the paid plan, the customer can request for the data to our support team at hello@okrbot.io
Data archiving and removal policy
On termination of the paid plan and customer not pro-actively requesting for the archival, data will be terminated within 90 days from the date of the expiry of the subscription. It cannot be recovered from thereon. Sufficient communication will be made to customer before permanently deleting the data. Data backup used for disaster recovery/system failure or any similar events will be deleted 90 days once.
Data storage policy
- Data server access is restricted to only the DevOps team. No other team members will be provided with access to servers. Access is reviewed every month as part of the product assessment and reviews - The data layer is separated from the logic layer. Connected through a secure connection with whitelisted IPs. - Alert policies are set for the data storage limit. Once data cross 80% of the limit, relevant actions are taken like extended the volumes, etc. - None of the servers can be accessed outside office premises due to IP whitelisting and firewalls - Data backups are stored separately as part of a disaster recovery strategy - Data backups are done daily and deleted with 90 days difference
